From Thailand with Calm, and a Small Request

Hello there,

This week’s newsletter feels a little different. And for good reason

About a week ago, I arrived in Thailand for a three-week vacation, so I’m taking a short break from our “Foundations of Good Health” series and allowing myself to share a bit of the journey.

We all know Thailand is a beautiful country – stunning beaches, incredible food, colors and aromas everywhere. But what’s talked about less, and in my opinion what truly completes the Thai experience, are the Thai people themselves.

A gentle, calm culture, with genuine smiles. Smiles that ask for nothing in return, yet know how to say thank you. Even in big cities like Bangkok and Phuket, I keep being impressed by the humanity, by the open and warm way they welcome us Westerners – with love and without envy. Many of them seem simply content with what they have. And that is a powerful lesson.

If even a small part of that lesson stays with you – putting things into perspective, remembering to be content with what is – that’s your gift to me from this trip.

And now, gently, back to everyday matters 😊

I am currently looking for five patients who suffer from chronic tension-type headaches and would like to participate in a study, receiving six treatments free of charge. For those unfamiliar: a tension headache is usually related to accumulated physical or emotional stress. It often feels like a constant pressure or tight band around the head, especially the forehead or neck. The pain is typically on both sides of the head, not throbbing, and can last for many hours. Many people describe it as tiring and persistent rather than sharp.

Based on my experience so far with the IPRA123 method, effectiveness of around 80–90% has been observed. The study will be conducted under the supervision of Shenzhou Open University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The study is suitable for those who experience headaches:

for at least 3 months

at least twice a week

lasting a minimum of 3 hours per week

If this sounds like you – or someone you know – I would be very happy to hear from you. You can reply to this email or contact me via WhatsApp: +31 6 36303955.

Wishing you calm days, deep breaths, and a touch of the Thai smile back home. See you soon 🌿
